Online resolution: Online mediation can create a helpful barrier between yourself and the person you are mediating with.
• You can decide if you wish to take a break at any point or if you wish to end the meeting. Ending the meeting does not mean you are ending the process.
• No pressure to make a decision on the spot. You can take time to consider the options, take legal advice or book further mediation sessions if you wish.
For your initial MIAM, you can use Facetime, WhatsApp, Skype, or Zoom.
• Mediation can be held whether you reside in the very same house or separately.
• We can help you in exchanging financial information, and also any agreement reached can be signed and documented.
• Zoom can be used of for joint sessions, and it works great.
• Other Mediation types are available online.
• Mediation anywhere at work, or home.
Shuttle mediation is an option available should there be court orders in place that prevent clients from direct communication. Even when there are non-molestation orders, bail conditions or restraining orders in place we can still mediate using shuttle mediation.
Shuttle mediation is a type of mediation in which the two parties mediate in separate spaces. They will not at anytime be able to see or hear each other and will instead talk through the mediator.
Courts are advocates of mediation and would always prefer it is attempted before applying to court.
